Last Saturday we headed down to San Clemente to celebrate Grampy's birthday with the family at one of our favorite restaurants. Clare couldn't wait to see her cousin Donovan, aunt Meg, uncle Dustin, Grampy, Oma and Oma-Oma...and talked about it the whole way down.
Once there we had a great time catching up with each other, celebrating Grampy, and eating some good food. Clare even got to open a birthday gift from Donovan a little bit early. She got a box of princess shoes (we suspect Aunt Meghan helped Donovan pick out the PERFECT gift) and we've had a princess who loves the click clack sound of her "Ariels" in our midst ever since.
We finished off the night with some coffee/tea and sweet treats that Clare, Jonathan and I thought we should pick up from our favorite bakery - Susie Cakes. Yum!
